Design Update to Daikin Altherma Outdoor Units

We're pleased to let you know that a design update has been introduced across selected Daikin Altherma outdoor units. The inlet grille was removed to align with the wider range and to support more consistent performance.

The update follows market feedback, where debris such as leaves could become trapped between the grille and heat exchanger, restricting airflow and affecting efficiency. Removing the grille helps prevent this and supports more reliable long-term operation.

The design update affects certain Daikin Altherma outdoor units, including EDLA 4/6/8 and EBLA 4/6/8 monobloc models, and ERGA 4/6/8 refrigerant split systems.

There is no change to product codes or pricing, and units manufactured from November 2025 are already supplied without the grille.

NOTE: This is a design update, not a missing component, and the grille cannot be retrofitted.
