The Sensira FTXF range is one of Daikin's most popular residential indoor units. Following the launch in 2023 of the new Sensira FTXF-E series for class 20-42, Daikin has also now introduced new outdoor units 50-71, offering even greater installation flexibility.
This month sees the launch of a new range of Sensira models that come with built-in WiFi as standard. There has also be a size reduction for the 5.0kW indoor (sizes 6.0kW and 7.1kW will have the WiFi adaptor in the indoor box, not built-in). The FTXF-E/D range offers multiple features and efficiency benefits.
The heat exchanger and fan generate one of the highest energy efficiencies across the range (20-60) - up to A++ in cooling and A+ in heating.
Whisper quiet operation down to 20 dB(A). The different fan settings mean the residential wall-mounted unit can be used in offices, hallways, living and bedrooms.
Controls
In addition to the wired controller, the optional Daikin Onecta App enables control of the unit from any location via connection to the cloud. Main functions like temperature set point, operation mode, fan speed, etc. can also be controlled via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
