Principal Climate is proud to introduce Daikin’s new Rooftop Series, which have been totally redesigned for R32 refrigerant, and are ERP 2021 compliant.
The series is available in base 2, 3 and 4-damper versions, offering maximum configuration flexibility and efficiency.
Through the use of R32 refrigerant, inverter-controlled scroll compressors are now fitted to most of the range. Four different versions are available with capacities up to 190kW; options include fresh air, extraction and heat recovery.
The Daikin Rooftop Series optimises installation space and delivers improved air quality and circulation. The 25mm double-skinned panels also minimise noise. The high efficiency EC plug fan is virtually maintenance free.
Increased choice for more applications
The base installation option requires no additional piping and offers immediate ‘plug and play’ connectivity. A 2-damper version additionally comes with integrated fresh air, while the 3-damper model also provides air extraction, together with thermodynamic heat recovery. Leading the range is the premium 4-damper version, which also features a plate heat exchanger to recover waste heat in the most efficient way.
Free cooling with up to 100% fresh air delivers improved air quality plus excellent energy savings.
Optimised speed and greater installation flexibility
A unique feature of the Daikin Rooftop Series is the freedom to choose from standard or customised systems. Standard units are pre-manufactured so as to make them directly available for fast delivery. The made-to-order option allows specifiers to customise units to fit the exact building needs.
A wide range of additional factory-mounted items are also available, including auxiliary heat sources, and a wide range of filters - up to ISO ePM1 85% (F9). Steam humidifiers, oversized fans for higher ESP and a range of accessories are also available.
