As an air conditioning contractor, you’ll know that little will go wrong if you install a Daikin air conditioning or heating system because of its quality and reliability.  Not only can you offer your customers a wide choice of modern and award-winning indoor unit designs, you can further impress them with Daikin’s award-winning Online Controller application.

The Online Controller application can control and monitor the status of heating systems or up to 50 split air conditioning units, allowing customers to manage their energy use from wherever they are, 24 hours a day.

The monitor allows customers to:

- Monitor the status of the air conditioning or heating system

- View energy consumption graphs so that they can adjust systems for high efficiency

The controls allow customers to:

- Control the operation mode; set temperature, fan speed, air direction and filtering

- Remotely control heating, cooling and domestic hot water

- Control multiple units by zone (Split and Daikin Altherma integrated bi-zone only)

- Schedule the set temperature and operation mode with up to 6 actions per day for 7 days

- Enable holiday mode to save energy while away, and start up the system prior to return

- View options in the intuitive mode

- Integrate 3rd party products & services via IFTTT

- Select Demand control/power limitation (Split only)

 

Intuitive Energy Saving Technology

The intuitive mode allows customers to set functions that suit their own personal or business needs. For example, customers may want to turn off the heating or cooling in a specific area (such as a meeting room) when they exit it. The trigger is determined by the smart phone setting which will know when the area is vacated.

Customers can also programme their unit in line with their lifestyle. Via the iFTTT (If this, then that) customers can connect different appliances and manage them remotely. For example, if a customer leaves home, the heating or cooling will turn off. 3rd party products and services such as smart meters and lights can also be connected.

There are many different types of settings available for both domestic and commercial applications, but above all they are designed to put your customer in total control of their systems and energy use – all day, every day.
