The Daikin Intelligent Touch Manager (iTM) enables users to control entire air conditioning systems through a web browser on any compatible browser-enabled device. With the web interface, users can control all HVAC equipment from any location via a touchscreen, Intranet, or the Internet.
Easy energy management and servicing
The iTM is ideal for commercial buildings with multiple floors or spaces, e.g. hotels, offices, apartments, hospitals etc.
The user-friendly centralised controller features a built-in, free browser function that allows users to log in and control and monitor heating, cooling, hot water, ventilation, purification, refrigeration and air curtains from the same interface.
Building managers and service and maintenance engineers can quickly access information about multiple or single units and reduce time and costs for customers.
A built-in web browser function, available for free, allows the iTM to be accessed via an Ethernet connection. Once activated, users can control the system remotely just as they would on the iTM touchscreen.
Accessibility
Within the ‘Dealer Options’ of the iTM, there is a function called ‘Web Browser’. Once activated, the iTM’s Ethernet port is enabled for HTML5 browsing.
When a browser-enabled device is connected to this port, it can access the iTM's built-in web pages, which mirror the functionality of the iTM touchscreen. This allows users to control the system remotely from their device.
It also means that multiple users, such as tenants and landlords, can access the iTM simultaneously.
Typical installation examples
The iTM device communications are via a Local Area Network (LAN) connection, so there are many possible means of installation. Three of the most common examples are:
1. Communications via an unmanaged switch
2. Communications via Ethernet socket
3. Communications via router.
Browsing account specification
Maximum number of user accounts: 60 (maximum of 16 logged in at any one time).
Maximum number of Administrator accounts: 4
Login requirements: Unique ‘User name’ and ‘Password’ per account.
User rights: Access to a single ‘Area’ (those units belonging to the user) specified at the time of account creation. Basic ‘front screen’ control and monitoring only.
Administrator rights: Full access to all ‘Areas’. Access to all iTM functions.
