Principal Climate is excited to introduce the newly upgraded Perfera split system - one of Daikin’s best-selling indoor units.
The new Perfera indoor unit has been updated with a new design and advanced features that are shown below and in full on the downloadable bulletin.
The Perfera upgrade will take place in two stages with class 15-50 being launched immediately, followed by class 60 and 71 in the Summer 2024.
In order to remain compatible with the Perfera Floor unit and other Sky Air indoor units, the split outdoor units for class 25 and 35 will also be upgraded during Summer 2024.
Transition Planning
Class 15-35: From January, the Perfera indoor units FTXM-R and outdoor units RXM-R will be replaced with the new indoor units FTXM-A and new outdoor units RXM-A.
Class 42-50: From January, the current indoor unit FTXM-R and outdoor unit RXM-R need to be replaced together as they cannot be mixed with the new indoor FTXM-A and outdoor unit RXM-A.
The Daikin Perfera air conditioner features a new modern design with sleek curves and flowing lines. Its double louvre enhances air distribution by increasing air velocity and lengthening the air throw.
Additionally, the control panel has been simplified, highlighting only the Daikin Eye and presence sensor.
Upgraded features include:
Comfort+ - Two louvres create higher air velocity and throw for improved air and temperature distribution.
2 area motion sensor - If people are detected in the room, the airflow is directed away to a different zone to avoid discomfort. If no one is present, the indoor unit enters an energy-saving mode.
Quieter operation - During operation, the outdoor unit's sound power level has been reduced by up to 3dB(A), resulting in a sound pressure of 19 dB(A).
Heat boost - With the new outdoor units (RXM-R), you can rapidly warm up the home when starting the air conditioner. The set temperature is achieved 14% faster compared to a standard air conditioner.
Clean air - Daikin's Flash Streamer combines with a titanium apatite and silver allergen filter to tackle air impurities. The new static air filter is treated with an active substance (Ionpure) to improve efficiency.
Seasonal efficiency - Whether in heating or cooling mode, efficiencies of up to A+++ can now be achieved in pair and multi-split applications.
Daikin Onecta App - The indoor unit can be controlled remotely via the Onecta App including voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The Intelligent Thermal sensor, 3D airflow, outdoor unit silent and econo mode in the weekly timer can also now be controlled via the app.
DCS Residential - In pair and multi applications, the Perfera enables remote retrieval of the serial number for the outdoor and indoor unit, remote diagnostics, and field settings modification by contractors.
Dimensions - The dimensions of the indoor and outdoor units have been adjusted.
